Allotments and gardens

We use the area we have to grow food and help each other in our gardens and allotments. We have also started to grow in other people's gardens when they are unable to manage them
Heysham Heritage Cottage garden
​
We are restoring the cottage garden behind the Heritage Centre in Heysham, owned by the Heritage Trust. This is a long term project, but it is great to see the changes - it has already yielded a harvest.

The Orchard Project in White Lund
​
We have been allowed to plant a public orchard in Morecambe. It is at an early stage, but the plans include bee and bird-friendly plants and a seating area
